With our state-of-the-art inspection lab, we are able to map a sample part and determine its physical dimensions. We then use the data to create a model and working print (using Solid Works software). If the material is unknown, we will submit the sample part to a certified metallurgical lab to determine material or heat treat. This information is incorporated into the new engineering drawing or model, which is then submitted to our customer for final approval. Only upon approval, the engineering drawing or model can be easily imported to our CAM software and transferred to our machining centers.
