Ten team members from Fitzpatrick Mfg. Co. attended IMTS 2014. The show was back on track and at the levels last seen at the 2000 show. This is clearly a testament to the resurgence of manufacturing activity in North America. From talking with machine builders, tooling suppliers, metrology suppliers, and raw material suppliers, the overall consensus is the economy is doing pretty well overall. In fact, IMTS.com reports attendance was at 114,147 people, up 14% over the 2012 show. As a comparison, per IMTS.com there were just over 100,000 visitors in 2000. We hope the economy continues strong and that manufacturing continues to rebound.
