Fitzpatrick Mfg. Co. once again sponsored a student team from Oakland University's Department of Human Resource Development during the winter semester of 2015. This was the thirteenth semester of working with Oakland University on this truly unique program. Our facility served as a laboratory to help bridge the classroom instruction with real-life industry situations. The students from Oakland University came to us very well prepared to take on an overview assessment of our company’s shop floor operations, in particular our shipping and receiving area with a concentration on the issue of suppliers sending product with incorrect shipping documents. The students did an excellent job with their final presentation on April 14, 2015, which was attended by Co-President Kevin LaComb. This class and Professor Doman’s insight once again proved to be a positive asset for both the students and our company
