Lean Principles Class

Once again, during the fall semester of 2014, two of our best and brightest employees embarked upon yet another journey with Oakland University’s Professor Mark Doman in a Lean Principles Class on the campus of Oakland University. The class is unique, as our team members bring actual real life practicality to the classroom and is a perfect blend of classroom theory and real life applications. Our team members were grouped with three other students. This hybrid team examined our gage calibration process and methods used to ensure our gage calibration systems are in compliance with our ISO system as well as supporting the function of our quality management system. Many of these changes have already been implemented in our gage calibration area, and in the coming months we look forward to the complete implementation of the project.
