The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted many businesses including Fitzpatrick Mfg. Co. Some sectors of our business portfolio have seen month-to-month increases when compared with yearly averages; however, many of our customers have declined. We have used this opportunity to address some operation inefficiencies:
1) Extensive spring cleaning, freeing up valuable floor space.
2) Disposition and scrapping of any old project tooling that has been retained longer than 10 years without a repeat order.
3) Inventory system rebuild and reorganization to facilitate our SMI and VMI customer portfolio. This inventory rebuild and reorganization will allow us to take on 3-4 medium size SMI / VMI customers.
All of these changes will allow Fitzpatrick Mfg. to respond very quickly once economic conditions change and business returns to historically normal levels.
